Our group began with a presentation by Dr Omar Mubin on his upcoming conference presentation. Mubin’s research is on scientrometric, which is the study on how research is being done. Current trends in this field include looking at citations, publication evolutions and impact analysis.

“There are many fields that can be studied,” the doctor explained. “In my research, I am looking mainly at Human-Computer Interactions.”
The focus of this paper is looking at human-agent interactions with the aim of analysing the trend of the conference he will be presenting at. Examples of goals include understanding where the papers coming from, do authors publish several times to the same conference, what is the evolution in terms of volume and what applications are the papers written for.
